So the job hunt is finally over. I got the offer and am starting Jun 1. Hopefully this will turn out to be a much better experience than my last job. It's a fairly big company and they supposedly take good care of their employees. One thing that worries me slightly is I will have to adjust to waking up a lot earlier than I'm used to...but ya do what ya have to do. The nice thing is, contrary to the dumb ass recruiter who said I was gettin overpaid, they actually upped my pay from the last company, so that made me happy. On top of all the other benefits, its a great package.
In fact, 2 days after I got the offer, I booked a ticket to Honolulu and spent the week there. Love it. Totally relaxing. Great food. Fell in love with poke and li hing candies and zippys and learned how to cut up a pineapple. Now if only they weren't so damn expensive.
To close out this little period before I go back to work, I'm doing a trip to vegas this weekend with friends. No doubt this will be a kick ass weekend =)
